PERISCOPE Consultants

In May/June’s Newsletter, we covered several topics;

• The renewed activity in Australia of the Irish governments trade arm
“Enterprise Ireland”

• IFSEC UK 2010 and the contingent of companies exhibiting from Australia
and NZ, and lastly

• Periscope’s new strategic alliance with some European movers
and shakers, PARUPS.

Periscope recently got together John Hebrard its Principal Sales & Marketing Consultant and Mark Parker of Smart Selling.

Whilst John’s record is second to none, Mark Parker and John had a great
discussion on exactly where and how the InterNet affects a company’s Sales &
Marketing efforts; a timely topic as Mark had recently reviewed a raft of diverse
businesses and critiqued their use of 9 InterNet mediums. Any company reviewing the effectiveness of its channels to market and mix would do well to heed what they both said – something we will elaborate on in our next edition.

With all of the vast amounts of content pouring onto the InterNet daily, companies need to stop and think “is this adding to or detracting from our ability to sell?” With analogies to the “Tower of Babel”, more is not necessarily better and this leads us into this edition’s
theme “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. Sounds straightforward enough
but sadly so many companies get it terribly wrong by confusing the market, undermining sales and ultimately, damaging their brand.

Egils Parups originally hails from Western Australia and after completing his degree, set about working in some of the most competitive markets in the world. Egils has 30 years experience in helping clients crystallize their thoughts on their identity, their strategy and the impact on design.

I believe my role is to assist in providing my clients with a competitive edge.

I know the difference good design can make.By accurately reflecting a corporate culture or a brand personality, good design can raise staff morale and ensure that individual products or services remain in tune with the times.

Without good design, those same products and services can be overlooked or lose opportunities to build brand loyalty. And just as share of mind is eventually reflected by share of market, so too is good design directly reflected by bottom line profits.

To ensure I offer the best possible service to my clients I am totally committed to providing international experience, a thorough understanding of tomorrow’s technology and a business-like work ethic that is in keeping with the vitality and energy of my industry.

That is a brief description of what I can offer businesses, but of course, I am only one strand of the complete package that is Periscope Management Solutions. With my partners and colleagues, we can advise and help with tasks large and small, from a tweak of your logo to a re-build of your entire business strategy.

You only need ask.
